This has been a work in progress, however, they are finally DONE!!! Thanks to my amazingly talented mom, my living room curtains are finished. She is the best! I can't thank you enough mom for your time and help. My mom is the most amazing seamstress, and she helped me make these white linen curtains for our front room...I think they turned out great. It makes the room look so warm and homey. So here of some pics.

Clarification...
So I'm not great at putting the description of the picture next to it...so I need to explain some of the photos below. Haha. Blake went as John from "John and Kate plus 8". Do you like the dark hair & earing? I was going to try and go as Kate, but I couldn't find the right wig. So I borrowed Tobin's inflatable horse costume. It was really fun, except Cayden and Cooper wanted to ride on it. Poor little guys didn't understand that it was just full of air. Quinn was the Phantom, Meg was a beautiful fairy, the boys were UFC fighters and little Cole was Mickey Mouse. Our friends the Jensens went as Zombies...Trent couldn't wait to get dressed up in his costume. One of my favorite costumes was Juline King's, she went as the Octamom...see all the dolls tied to her? Jac and Quin went as Rhianna and Chris Brown. So hopefully that cleared up some of the costumes.
The pumkin dinner was our Halloween dinner. I made White Chicken Chili and we ate out of pumpkins (as our bowls)... Harvey was our little Jail Bird. He didn't keep the hat on very long...just long enough for some pictures. :)

Halloween and Baby Update!!!

Halloween season was a lot of fun. We carved pumpkins with my family, ate some yummy chili, and went to Quinn and Meg's Annual Halloween party, which included good friends, family, (more chili) spudnut donuts (homemade thanks to Karen and Chris) and yummy treats. Here are some photos from the Party, and Halloween Night. My sister Tiff and her husband Tobin went as Malibu Ken and Barbie, however, the makeup made them look like Black Ken and Barbie. We had way too much fun with their wigs. I love the blond one on Blake. don't you think he could pull of the Blond look? Blake stayed up Halloween night until the clock struck midnight to turn on the radio to COZY 106.5 to see if they started their Christmas music. I guess they have done this in the past...but not this year. He was so disappointed. I am super excited for Christmas, but I think we should enjoy Thanksgiving first! :)
We also went to the doctor on Wednesday for our ultrasound...but no success. This baby was being way too modest! The doctor thought for sure it was a girl, then before he finished, he said "wait, that could be the umbilical cord, or it could be a boy". He tried to get a better look, but the baby would not cooperate. So we will go back in 3 weeks to try to look again. Either way, we are so excited and very happy and relieved that all is going well so far. Thank you all again for all the prayers...we have felt a lot of love and so much support from each of our friends and family. We are so truly blessed to have each of you in our lives. I hope you all had a wonderful and safe Halloween!

Oooohhh Baby!

Blake and I have very exciting news!!! We are going to become parents in April of 2010!!! We are 13 weeks along and so excited. Things seem to be going pretty good so far. The baby looks healthy and strong, and I am feeling a little bit better now that we are getting into the 2nd trimester. We love and appreciate you all and are so grateful for all the prayers on our behalf. We are really excited about starting this chapter of our lives (again) and want to thank everyone for your love and support. We will keep you all posted! Our next doctor visit is November 4th, and we hope to be able to find out what we are having. I have battled with the idea of finding out the gender when the baby is born...and that sounds SO exciting! However, I have come to the realization that I am NOT that PATIENT! I can't wait to start buying boy or girl clothes, blankets, toys, etc. We are so excited and can't wait to meet this new little one.

More of the Wedding...Funnel Cakes, and the beginning of FALL!

I have posted a few more pictures from the wedding reception. (All pictures are in no particular order, it's just how they came off the camera) :) It was so beautiful and I loved the vintage theme. The guys look so handsome in their tuxedos. We are so happy for Quin and Jac. They are settling into married life and loving every minute of it. We are so happy to have Quin in the family. He just fits right in and seems like he has been part of the fam forever!
Here are some pictures from the State Fair, which I had NEVER been to in my life, and I have now deemed it as "SCARY LAGOON". We spend about 3 hours there walking around, looking at the animals, the world's largest Alligator, and eating funnel cakes and pizza. Do we know how to have a good time or what??? The other pictures are from the other night, when Blake decided to make a spooky Halloween Ghost cake. Yes, that's right, I said BLAKE decided to make a HALLOWEEN cake. I must say, the Capson boys sure get into Halloween early. Quinn had his decorations up the first week of September, and now we are starting to watch all the Harry Potter movies leading up to Halloween. This cake was so cute. The eyes catch on fire and it is very cool to look at in the dark. The little boys LOVED it. Fall is my favorite time...I love the smells, the cooler weather, the cute fall fashions...I love Halloween and Thanksgiving. So happy Fall to all of you. This is one of our favorite times of the year.

Here Comes the Bride

Congratulations Quin and Jaclyn! Friday was a pretty special day for the Capson Family. Jaclyn married Quin Kofford in the Bountiful Temple. It was such a gorgeous day. The weather was perfect (super HOT) but it was so pretty. Jac looked so Beautiful. Elder Kofford sealed Quin and Jac and it was such an incredible ceremony. He gave such great counsel and advise. Both Quin and Jac were beaming when he had them look into the mirrors. We are so happy for them both and wish them all the best as they begin this new chapter of their lives together. I have attached some photos from the wedding day. It was a gorgeous reception, at the Grand Ballroom in Bountiful, she had a Vintage Theme wedding, which turned out so incredible. I think the kids' favorite part was the Vintage 1940's Candy Bar that was set up. We couldn't keep them away from it. We had such a great day, and thank everyone who helped to make it so special.

Girls Camp

I just got back from a week long girl's camp at the Heber Valley Camp. It was such an incredible week. It was long and by the time I got home, I was ready for a hot shower and a 12 hour nap, but it was amazing! We have such an incredible ward, with such amazing young women. Honestly, I am amazed at the things they would say, the little acts of kindness they would perform and the way they all loved and accept each other. We went Monday through Friday morning...we had such a great time canoeing on Legacy Lake and then doing the challenge course. This camp site was incredible. I can't believe all that the church has done to make this such a beautiful camp site. We had an amazing camp director this year. Heather Limon put so much work into making this such a fun and very spiritual camp. Our theme this year was..."It's a jungle out there...Fear Not!" We read a lot in D&C 6 and 3 Nephi 13. One of the highlights for me was when we did our "Journey in the Jungle" each day. We had darling camp journals that we made the first day we were there and we would take those journals and our scriptures and have some time to meditate and think. We could read our scriptures or write in our journals...it was a really cool part of camp. Heather was truly inspired to do this. We did a great hike one of the days called the Eagle Loop. It was awesome. The highest point of the hike was breathtaking...we could look out and see the whole Heber Camp, the lakes, trails and campsites. So beautiful!!! We made "hiking ice cream" in our backpacks on that hike. What a sweet treat that was on our way down from this long and steep hike. And this brings me to the food...WOW! The food was amazing! Amy Jensen was in charge of the food, and it was one of the best parts of camp. We were truly well fed spiritually and physically. This was a great week. I love this ward, I am so grateful for the frienships I have made and the incredible girls and leaders I get to associate with. They are such great examples to me and teach me so much each time I am with them.
