"Oh, oh Mexico"

So Blake and I headed south last week. We had a great week soaking up the sun in good ol' Mexico. While it was snowing back here at home, we were kayaking and 4 wheeling in Cabo, and Zip lining in Puerto Vallarta. (sorry to all those stuck back here in the miserable cold) Blake won a cruise from his work, and it was AWESOME! We had both never been on a cruise before, and it was my first time to Mexico...It was one of the best trips I've ever been on. The food was incredible and all the excursions we did in the ports were unforgettable. One of the highlights was when we were kayaking in Cabo, we saw a mama and a baby humpback whale about 50 yards away from our boat. The baby kept jumping out of the water, and putting on a show. It was amazing. I've never been that close to a whale before. We had fun snorkeling, and 4wheeling on the beach. Then in Puerto Vallarta, we did the "Extreme Canopy" excursion. We zip lined in the jungle and then did a 100 foot waterfall repel. It was a lot of fun and also very relaxing. Thank you to everyone back at home for watching things at work, taking care of Halle and Harvey and making it possible for us to go on this much needed vacation. It was hard to leave Halle for so long, but I know that Blake and I needed that. It was great to come home and see her. She made strange for a little bit, but after a while she warmed right up to us. I think she is a little nervous that we are going to leave her again, because if I walk out of a room for too long, she starts to whimper. Poor little thing. But she is adjusting back to her regular schedule, and so am I (unfortunately) It was so nice to be able to sleep all night long for a whole week. No middle of the night bottles to prepare, or crying babies to go calm at 3:30 am. It was amazing! Three words..."Chocolate Melting Cake"!!!! YUM!!!!! :)
