Catching Up!

So I am the worlds worst blogger. This is not a surprise to anyone I'm sure. I am going to try and do better...I really have no excuse, just lazy I guess. Anyway...I thought I would post some pictures of the things we have been up to these past few months. After we got home from Mexico, it was Halle's 1st birthday! It was so stinkin' cute if I do say so myself. We did a "Monkey" party for her. She makes the cutest little monkey noise, so we decided that would be a cute theme for her first birthday. She is getting so big and doing so many things. It is so much fun to watch her grown and learn new things. What a fun little girl she is!

May was a busy month for house rennovations. We decided to give our kitchen cabinets a little facelift. Not a full on makeover, just a nip and tuck here and there. We kept the original boxes, and painted them white, then had some new cabinet doors made for them. We think it was an awesome "bang for the buck". It makes our whole family room/kitchen feel so much more open and bright. Thanks to my mother in law Karen for all of her help painting the cabinets. It's a much bigger job than it looks. We have begun the summer off with a bang as well. We had to have a new roof put on the beginning of June. I'll post pictures of that soon as well. The old roof was falling off and there were already two layers of shingles, so we had to take the whole thing off. Quite the experience! That is a topic for a whole different blog post though.
