Catching up...again

I know I do a massive post at least once a quarter, with all sorts of pictures and re-caps...I am really going to try hard to do better. I don't have any good excuse for not blogging. I guess I am Just lazy when it comes blogging...but not anymore...I am turning over yet another "NEW LEAF". I don't know if I feel overwhelmed to try and write something witty about our average, everyday lives, or if I need to get better at taking more pictures and documenting moments in our lives that we want to remember...but whatever it is, I am going to figure it out and fix it. So for this Quarter big "Catch Up" post, I'll tell you a little bit about what we have been doing.

Daddy and Halle: There wasn't really anything going on here, it was just super cute...and I thought Blake looks super hot. Halle loves her Daddy, and he is wrapped pretty tightly around her little finger. So it all works out!

** Many trips to Wheeler Farm, with cousins, aunts, uncles and Grandma's and Grandpa's. It was a lot of fun. Halle loves the animals and the hay ride. I seriously think we have been out there about 4 times in the last few months. But it is so much fun to see her with the animals. She loves to feed the ducks and gets a little freaked out if they come too close. (Note, every animal makes the same noise to halle. We ask her what a chicken says, and she makes a monkey noise...we ask her what a goat says, and she makes a monkey noise...We are going to have to work on that)

Skittles: Halle is absolutely obsessed with Skittles. She loves these things. She doesn't really care for any other candies, but she knows where I have a little jar of them hidden and she found it the other day. She took the lid off and was having a wonderful time, until I cought her. I love her little chubby hand stuck in the jar. She had a fist full and wouldn't drop them.

** Red Fish Lake: We went to Red Fish Lake for a fun Labor Day weekend. Lots of boating, bike riding and staying up way too late. We stayed in an awesome cabin just by the water. There was a great bike trail that went around the lake, and Blake and I took Halle on it several times. Again, she would not take a nap, (didn't want to miss a thing) so every time we put her in the bike trailer and started moving, she would fall asleep. We just kept riding so we could keep her asleep for at least a little while. Blake and I did some Rock jumping with the cousins. (I know it doesn't look that high, but once you are up there it is SUPER scary) The water was SO FREEZING. Blake jumped in the water with his 2 day old iPhone 4 (not a highlight)...however, Apple was awesome at taking care of him as the phone wasn't completely ruined. All in all it was an wonderful trip. Thanks to everyone who made it so much fun and so memorable.

The Bumbo: Halle discovered her little bumbo chair the other day. For a few months, she had no desire to even come near the thing...but all of a sudden we can't get her out of it. SHE LOVES to sit in it, then get up and walk around it, then sit in it and then walk around it. She must feel really big and grown up because she can get in and out of it herself. We love the Bumbo. It keeps her busy for a VERY long time. She loves to sit in it and watch Word world and Looney Toones.

"Peeeesssee": Halle says a lot of words now, she is talking like crazy. She jibber jabbers all over the house, and is really good at playing "pretend" . She loves to pretend to talk on the phone, and we will hear her jibber jabbering away, and then we hear. "bla, bla, dah, dah, ma, dadeeee, a momeeee" So we know she is saying something about us, we just hope its good. Sometimes she says it with a really angry voice, and other times in her sweet little voice. Who knows. She is definitely growing up and become quite the little diva. She is really good at saying "peeaasse and taint too" We love to hear her ask for things, she just says "peeeeeaase" and points to them. She also has to have two of everything. One in each hand, and she has learned to say "two, two". She keep us laughing.

Cowgirl Up: We got the cutest jammies from some friends for one of my baby showers. I thought she would never fit in these, they seemed so big at the time. But our little girl is growing up. She is so big now...We love the little pink cowboy boots at the bottom and the western shirt on the back. Super cute.
