Love is all around...

For Valentines this year, we made cakes for our Grandma's & Grandpa's. Halle did the decorating. She loved it. She made a complete mess with the frosting, and loved putting the sprinkles on the cake. She was so proud of herself, and felt like such a big girl. We are so grateful for such awesome family members all around us, who give us so much support and love. We love you all.

Birthday Girl!

Today is our little Eva's birthday. She would be 5 years old today. We can't believe that 5 years have already gone by. I am amazed at all that has happened since that snowy, bleak day in February 5 years ago. We have learned so much, and grow so much over these last few years. The pain of losing a child never goes away...but you learn to cope with the loss better and better as time goes by, allowing your hear to heal. We are so blessed to have our little Halle, who is a constant reminder of how our prayers were answered. After longing for a baby for so long. She brings so much joy and light into our home and family. And in many ways, I'm sure she is a lot like her big sister Eva. We love these two little girls with all of our hearts. I feel so blessed to be their mom. I feel so grateful that our Heavenly Father has allowed me the blessing of bringing them into this world to give them mortal bodies. I know that Heaven is not far away, that Eva is very much still a part of our lives. She is aware of us and all that we are doing. We love you Eva. We can't wait for the day that we get to hold you in our arms. Happy 5th Birthday!
